Death By Chocolate Cooking Class

Your first question may be, “a chocolate class led by a registered dietitian?” Yes, you read that right! So if you are a chocolate fan like myself, come prepared to be in a chocolate coma or wide awake all night from it’s stimulating effects on the brain. Either way your taste buds will be tantalized with a variety of dishes ranging from rich and decadent to savory. This class is a chocolate lovers dream that’s not to be missed! This is a hands-on cooking class where participants will be in groups preparing one of the dishes to share with the rest of the class. There are 6 recipes total to make, taste in class, and take home the recipes to make over and over again for your chocolate go-tos. Don’t wait, spots fill up quickly! So grab a friend, family member or another choco-holic and come join us for the first ever all chocolate cooking class!
Only 22 spots available per class. Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to another person or class one week prior to the class date. Kids over 8 are welcome to sign up with an adult and need a separate ticket. Message me with any questions. See you in class!

Instructor Bio Ineke Ojanen, RD, CD, CDE
Ineke Ojanen, Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA. She is a CDC Diabetes Prevention Program facilitator. In this role she began to prepare participant’s recipes to help them successfully implement lifestyle changes. For the last three years Ineke has been a Food for Life instructor through VMM’s educational alliance program partnership with Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine. Nothing brings her more joy and excitement when she witnesses cooking class participants tasting new foods for the first time and realize that healthy can taste delicious! She has completed additional training through Food Forward Culinary Experience by the Humane Society of the U.S. and Rouxbe Culinary Rx. She enjoys volunteering her time helping others teach cooking classes, hiking, trail work and serves on the Washington Association of Diabetes Educators board as the Awards Committee Chair. In her free time she loves the kitchen as much as the great outdoors and even more her dog.
